Product Description
- Extremely high overall strength: Maintains excellent tensile, creep, and fatigue strength even at temperatures up to 700°C.
- Excellent machinability: Compared to other high-performance superalloys, it exhibits better hot working and cold forming properties, as well as superior weldability.
- Outstanding stability: Its core strengthening phase (γ'' phase) coarsens slowly under long-term high-temperature exposure, resulting in a stable microstructure and long service life.
- High Strength: Yield strength can reach over 1035 MPa at room temperature, and even at high temperatures of 650°C, the yield strength remains around 690 MPa.
- Excellent fatigue and creep properties: Capable of withstanding high-speed rotation and repeated thermal cycling in components such as engines.
- Corrosion resistance: Excellent resistance to oxidation, carburization, and sulfidation. Also exhibits good resistance to acidic, alkaline, and saline media.
- Low-temperature performance: Maintains good toughness even at extremely low temperatures of -253°C, suitable for liquid hydrogen/liquid oxygen environments.
- Poor thermal conductivity and low coefficient of thermal expansion: These are characteristics of its high-temperature application, but also present challenges during processing.
- Weldability: Can be welded using conventional welding methods (such as TIG, MIG, and electron beam welding), with no tendency to crack after welding. This is a significant advantage compared to many other high-performance alloys.
- Forgeability: Possesses good hot-working forming capabilities.
