Product Description
- High nickel content: Provides a stable austenitic matrix, good resistance to reducing media corrosion, and resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking.
- Medium-high chromium content: Endows the alloy with excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance and carburization resistance.
- No molybdenum, niobium, or other strengthening elements: Therefore, it does not possess age hardening capability; its strength primarily comes from solid solution strengthening and cold working.
- Alkali Corrosion Resistance: Exhibits extremely strong resistance to high-temperature, high-concentration caustic alkalis (NaOH, KOH), with virtually no stress corrosion cracking. This is its irreplaceable application area.
- Chloride Ion Stress Corrosion Resistance: In chloride-containing aqueous solutions, its stress corrosion resistance is superior to austenitic stainless steel.
- Resistant to Neutral and Alkaline Aqueous Solutions: Stable performance in pure water, slightly saline water, and high-temperature, high-pressure water.
- Resistant to Organic Acids and Reducing Atmospheres.
- Maintains good strength and toughness from low to high temperatures.
- Non-magnetic.
- High work hardening rate; strength can be significantly improved through cold working.
- Easy to perform hot and cold working (forming, bending).
- Good weldability; can be welded using various conventional methods, with no tendency for cracking after welding.
