Productbeschrijving
- Extreem hoge algehele sterkte: Behoudt uitstekende trek-, kruip- en vermoeiingssterkte, zelfs bij temperaturen tot 700°C.
- Uitstekende bewerkbaarheid: Vergeleken met andere hoogwaardige superlegeringen vertoont het betere warmvervormings- en koudvormingseigenschappen, evenals superieure lasbaarheid.
- Uitstekende stabiliteit: De kernversterkende fase (γ'' fase) verfijnt langzaam onder langdurige blootstelling aan hoge temperaturen, wat resulteert in een stabiele microstructuur en een lange levensduur.
- Hoge sterkte: De vloeigrens kan bij kamertemperatuur meer dan 1035 MPa bedragen, en zelfs bij hoge temperaturen van 650°C blijft de vloeigrens rond de 690 MPa.
- Uitstekende vermoeiings- en kruipeigenschappen: Bestand tegen snelle rotatie en herhaalde thermische cycli in componenten zoals motoren.
- Corrosiebestendigheid: Uitstekende weerstand tegen oxidatie, carburatie en sulfidatie. Vertoon ook goede weerstand tegen zure, alkalische en zoute media.
- Prestaties bij lage temperaturen: Behoudt goede taaiheid, zelfs bij extreem lage temperaturen van -253°C, geschikt voor vloeibare waterstof/vloeibare zuurstofomgevingen.
- Slechte thermische geleidbaarheid en lage thermische uitzettingscoëfficiënt: Dit zijn kenmerken van de toepassing bij hoge temperaturen, maar vormen ook uitdagingen tijdens de verwerking.
- Lasbaarheid: Kan worden gelast met conventionele lasmethoden (zoals TIG, MIG en elektronenstraallassen), zonder neiging tot scheurvorming na het lassen. Dit is een aanzienlijk voordeel ten opzichte van veel andere hoogwaardige legeringen.
- Smeedbaarheid: Beschikt over goede warmvervormingsmogelijkheden.
