- Excellent fatigue and oxidation resistance: Strong resistance to thermal fatigue and oxidation at high temperatures
- Superior weldability and formability: No tendency for post-weld cracking with performance in as-welded state close to base metal properties
- Solid solution strengthening: High strength derived from molybdenum and niobium in nickel matrix, eliminating complex heat treatment requirements
- Pitting and Crevice Corrosion Resistance: High molybdenum content (~9%) provides excellent performance in chloride-containing seawater and salt spray environments
- Uniform Corrosion Resistance: Strong resistance to various inorganic acids, organic acids, alkalis, and salt solutions including nitric acid, phosphoric acid, and sulfuric acid-hydrochloric acid mixtures
- Stress Corrosion Cracking Resistance: High resistance to chloride and caustic alkali environments
- Oxidation and Carburization Resistance: Capable of continuous operation in oxidizing and carburizing atmospheres up to 1100°C
- Good High-Temperature Strength: Maintains high strength and creep resistance below 980°C
- Moderate Strength, Excellent Toughness: Room temperature yield strength approximately 415 MPa with elongation over 30%
- Excellent Impact and Fatigue Resistance: Superior performance under dynamic loading conditions
