- hoher Nickelgehalt:Bietet eine stabile austenitische Matrix, eine gute Beständigkeit gegen die Korrosion von reduzierenden Medien und eine hohe Beständigkeit gegen Chlorid-Stresskorrosionscracking.
- Mittel-hoher Chromgehalt:Die Legierung besitzt eine hervorragende Oxidationsbeständigkeit und Vergasungsbeständigkeit bei hohen Temperaturen.
- ohne Molybdän, Niob oder andere Verstärkungsstoffe:Daher besitzt es keine Alterungshärtefähigkeit; seine Festigkeit kommt vor allem aus Festlösungshärtung und Kaltbearbeitung.
- Korrosionsbeständigkeit gegenüber Alkali:Sie weist eine äußerst starke Beständigkeit gegen hochtemperaturbedingte, hochkonzentrierte Kaustalkalien (NaOH, KOH) auf und ist praktisch ohne Spannungskorrosions-Krecken.
- Chlorid-Ionen-Stresskorrosionsbeständigkeit:In chloridhaltigen wässrigen Lösungen ist seine Spannungskorrosionsbeständigkeit dem austenitischen Edelstahl überlegen.
- Widerstandsfähig gegen neutrale und alkalische Wasserlösungen:Stabile Leistung in reinem Wasser, leicht salzigem Wasser und hochtemperaturigem, hochdruckendem Wasser.
