- Physical Barrier: Zinc layer tightly covers steel surface, isolating it from corrosive media
- Electrochemical Protection: Zinc acts as sacrificial anode, preferentially corroding to protect steel base material
Excellent coating adhesion allowing bending, stamping, stretching and forming without peeling
Unique zinc flower patterns with uniform color finish, suitable for direct use or as substrate for color-coated sheets
More economical than painting or stainless steel for equivalent protection lifespan
- Uncoiling and Welding: Continuous operation through coil joining
- Cleaning and Pre-treatment: Complete removal of oil and iron oxide scale
- Annealing: Recrystallization and softening in reducing atmosphere
- Hot-Dip Galvanizing: Immersion in molten zinc bath with air knife coating control
- Alloying Treatment (Optional): Conversion to zinc-iron alloy layer for GA coils
- Cooling and Passivation: Chemical treatment to prevent white rust formation
