In most environments, our aluminum-zinc coated steel offers 2-4 times better corrosion resistance than equivalent pure galvanized steel sheet (such as ASTM A653 G90). Aluminum provides excellent barrier protection and passivation properties, while zinc provides sacrificial anodic protection.
Excellent Heat and Oxidation ResistanceCan withstand continuous operating temperatures up to 315°C (600°F) without losing surface luster or protection. Suitable for even higher temperatures for short periods.
High Heat ReflectivityThe silver-gray surface provides approximately 75% heat reflectivity, contributing to building energy efficiency and thermal management.
