- Ongeëvenaarde corrosiebestendigheid: Uitzonderlijke prestaties in extreem corrosieve media, waaronder oxiderende en reducerende omgevingen, met name onder omstandigheden met chloride-ionen en zuren
- Uitstekende vermoeiings- en oxidatiebestendigheid: Sterke weerstand tegen thermische vermoeiing en oxidatie bij hoge temperaturen
- Superieure lasbaarheid en vervormbaarheid: Geen neiging tot scheurvorming na het lassen, met prestaties in de toestand na het lassen die dicht bij de eigenschappen van het basismetaal liggen
- Vaste oplossingsversterking: Hoge sterkte verkregen uit molybdeen en niobium in de nikkelmatrix, waardoor complexe warmtebehandelingsvereisten komen te vervallen
- Bestand tegen putcorrosie en spleetcorrosie: Hoog molybdeengehalte (~9%) biedt uitstekende prestaties in chloridehoudend zeewater en zoutnevelomgevingen
- Uniforme corrosiebestendigheid: Sterke weerstand tegen diverse anorganische zuren, organische zuren, logen en zoutoplossingen, waaronder salpeterzuur, fosforzuur en mengsels van zwavelzuur en zoutzuur
- Bestand tegen spanningscorrosie: Hoge weerstand tegen chloride- en caustische alkalische omgevingen
- Bestand tegen oxidatie en carburisatie: Geschikt voor continue werking in oxiderende en carburiserende atmosferen tot 1100°C
- Goede sterkte bij hoge temperaturen: Behoudt hoge sterkte en kruipweerstand onder 980°C
- Matige sterkte, uitstekende taaiheid: Vloeigrens bij kamertemperatuur ongeveer 415 MPa met een rek van meer dan 30%
- Uitstekende slag- en vermoeiingsweerstand: Uitzonderlijke prestaties onder dynamische belastingsomstandigheden
- Opmerkelijke prestaties bij lage temperaturen: Behoudt extreem hoge taaiheid en sterkte, zelfs bij temperaturen van vloeibare stikstof (-196°C)
