Deep Drawing DDQ Galvanized Steel Coils are manufactured from fully annealed, low-carbon steel with a controlled grain structure that maximizes elongation and plastic anisotropy. This gives the material enough ductility to survive severe cup drawing, stretch forming and multi-stage stamping without cracking or tearing along the coated surface. Traditional galvanized coils often develop coating cracks under heavy deformation, but our DDQ grade keeps the zinc layer continuous and adherent even after extreme forming. The result is a coil that lets appliance and auto-parts manufacturers raise line speed, cut rejection rates and produce deeper, more complex parts from a single blank.

DDQ galvanized coils are mainly consumed by home-appliance and automotive interior manufacturers. Typical parts include refrigerator and freezer liners, washing machine and dishwasher tubs, microwave housings, air-conditioner shells, oil pans, filter housings and deep-drawn brackets. Because the coils combine corrosion protection with outstanding formability, they are also used for metal furniture shells, lighting reflectors and gas appliance components. Designers choose these coils whenever a part requires both a deep draw and long-term rust resistance without a subsequent electroplating step.

The coils are delivered skin-passed and anti-rust oiled, wound on 508 mm or 610 mm inner diameters, wrapped in waterproof paper with an inner sleeve, edge-protected and steel-strapped on wooden pallets. Oiling can be adjusted to suit the customer's drawing lubricant and press conditions. Elongation, r-value, hardness and coating adhesion are tested before dispatch, and a Mill Test Certificate is included. To support new production lines, we can supply trial coils in custom widths and thicknesses so customers can validate formability before committing to full container quantities.
