Zero Spangle Galvanized Steel Coils are produced by suppressing crystal growth during zinc solidification, then skin-passing the surface to a smooth, uniform and almost pore-free finish. This smooth surface is exactly what prepainters and automotive parts makers need, because it gives paint a consistent anchor profile and eliminates the orange-peel or rough appearance caused by large visible spangles. The smooth surface of zero spangle coils makes them the preferred base metal for colour-coated steel production. They are widely used for appliance outer panels such as refrigerators and washing machines, automotive interior and skin components, pre-painted architectural cladding, switch cabinets, ceiling tiles, signage and consumer electronics enclosures. Coils are supplied wound on 508 mm or 610 mm eyes, wrapped in waterproof paper with an inner plastic sleeve, edge-protected with PVC corners, steel-strapped and palletized or loaded eye-to-wall for container transport. Anti-rust oil and chromate-free passivation can be applied to suit the customer's painting process and storage conditions. Before shipment, surface roughness, coating mass and adhesion are inspected to confirm the coil meets prepainting specifications, and a Mill Test Certificate accompanies every order. We also accommodate custom widths and small trial quantities for samples and production qualification.
