Product Description
Passivated tinplate coil is a rust resistant electrolytic tin coated steel engineered for long ocean freight and storage in humid tropical climates. Chromate passivation plus a DOS oil film give double protection against white rust and wet storage stain.
The material keeps a clean, uniform surface even after months of transit, so it can be unwrapped and processed without surface reconditioning or scrap.
Key Features- Chromate Passivation: A 300 mg/m2 chromate film seals the tin surface and blocks the oxidation that causes white rust.
