Product Description
Battery shell tinplate strip is a precision electrolytic tin coated steel designed for the deep drawn casing of cylindrical alkaline and carbon zinc cells. Uniform gauge and clean surface are critical because the strip is drawn into long cups with very thin walls.
The material provides good drawability, excellent nickel or tin plating adhesion and stable conductivity for the finished battery shell.

- High Drawability: Low carbon MR SPCC steel with controlled temper draws into deep cups without tearing or earing.

Battery shell tinplate is used for AA, AAA, C and D alkaline and carbon zinc cell casings, button cell housings and dry cell jacket wrapping.
It also suits small drawn metal parts such as coin cell holders and conductive housings where precision gauge and clean surface are essential.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceStrip is coiled eye to sky, protected with VCI anti rust film and kraft paper, banded with galvanised strapping and palletised for export.
Gauge profile, hardness and surface cleanliness are measured on line, and certificates of analysis with camber and thickness charts can be supplied on request.
