NM300 / NM360 / NM400 Wear Resistant Steel Plates, Hot Rolled Steel Plate
Features: Considered a reinforced version of ordinary structural steel, NM300 offers hardness just above the threshold of wear-resistant steel plates with excellent overall machinability. It performs similarly to ordinary steel plates in welding, bending, and cutting operations, requiring minimal equipment and technical expertise.
Design Concept: Ideal for applications where wear is not severe but high performance requirements for component forming and machinability are necessary.
- Flooring and side panels of light-duty dump trucks and tractor trailers
- Grain bins, plowshares, and harrow blades in agricultural machinery
- Liners for lightly worn conveyor chutes and hoppers
- Engineering machinery components requiring complex forming but not extremely high wear resistance
Features: NM360 strikes a balance between the easy machinability of NM300 and the high wear resistance of NM400. It offers significantly improved wear resistance for harsher working conditions while retaining good machinability.
Design Concept: Suitable for parts with moderate wear intensity and certain machining requirements.

Features: NM400 is the most widely used and classic wear-resistant steel plate grade in the Chinese market. It achieves optimal combination of hardness, strength, and toughness, offering excellent cost-effectiveness. While welding and cold-working performance is not as good as NM300 and NM360, this can be addressed through mature processes like preheating and suitable welding materials.
Design Concept: Suitable for most medium to heavy sliding and scraping wear conditions with non-extreme impact.
