Grade: 20# (20 steel)
Standards: GB/T 8162, GB/T 8163, GB/T 3087
Characteristics: Approximately 0.2% carbon content with good overall performance in strength, plasticity, and weldability.
- GB/T 8162: Mechanical equipment parts, building structural frames, vehicle chassis components
- GB/T 8163: Low-pressure fluid transportation pipelines (water, gas, oil)
- GB/T 3087: Boiler flue tubes, low-temperature superheater tubes
Grade: Q235 (Grades A/B/C/D)
Standards: Mainly GB/T 8162
Characteristics: Yield strength 235MPa - the most widely used carbon structural steel.
Main Uses: Structural components including building steel frames, bridge supports, engineering machinery structural parts, and guardrails. Generally not used for fluid pressure pipelines.
