Tinplate (SPTE) is electroplated tin steel sheets, featuring cold-rolled low-carbon steel sheets or strips coated with commercial pure tin on both sides. The tin coating provides excellent corrosion and rust prevention while combining steel's strength and formability with tin's corrosion resistance, solderability, and aesthetic appeal.
