Gekleurde dubbel gereduceerde staal tinplaat / plaat
Blokplaat (ETP) bestaat uit stalen vellen die elektrolytisch zijn gecoat met een dunne laag tin.
ETP kan enkel gereduceerd (SR) of dubbel gereduceerd (DR) zijn en is verkrijgbaar in plaat- en/of spoelvorm.
Afhankelijk van de behoeften van de gebruiker is tinplate verkrijgbaar in verschillende soorten met:
- Verschillende vormbaarheid ("tempers")
- Diktes van staal (van 0,13 mm tot 0,65 mm)
- Afwerkingen zoals helder, steen, zilver mat, zilver helder, mat

Blokplaat (SPTE) is een algemene benaming voor galvaniseerde blikplaten, die verwijst naar koudgewalste laagkoolstofstaalplaten of -stroken die aan beide zijden zijn bekleed met commercieel zuiver blik.Tin werkt vooral om corrosie en roest te voorkomen.
Het combineert de sterkte en vormbaarheid van staal met de corrosiebestendigheid, soldeerbaarheid en esthetische uitstraling van tin in een materiaal met corrosiebestendigheid, niet-toxiciteit,hoge sterkte en goede buigzaamheid.
De verpakkingen van tinplaten hebben een brede dekking in de verpakkingsindustrie vanwege hun goede afdichting, conservering, lichtbestendigheid, robuustheid en unieke metalen decoratieve charme.Vanwege de sterke antioxidante eigenschappen, diverse stijlen en uitstekende afdrukken, tinplate verpakkingscontainers zijn populair bij klanten en worden veel gebruikt in voedselverpakkingen, farmaceutische verpakkingen, grondstofverpakkingen,verpakking van instrumenten, en industriële verpakkingen.

Blokplaat wordt voornamelijk gebruikt voor het verpakken van voedingsmiddelen en dranken, maar wordt ook gebruikt in containers voor oliën, vetten, verven, poetsmiddelen, chemicaliën en vele andere producten.Aerosolcontainers en doppen en sluiting zijn ook gemaakt van ETP-tinplate.
