Congratulations to Wuxi Talat steel Co.ltd for achieving brilliant performance in 2022 with

annual sales exceeding 10,000 tons pipes.

Our 34CrMo4 alloy pipe is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel. Its composition (approximately 0.34% C, 1% Cr, 0.2% Mo) endows it with the following key properties:

High strength and good toughness: A combination of high strength and good toughness can be achieved through quenching and tempering (quenching + high-temperature tempering).

Excellent heat resistance: The addition of molybdenum significantly improves the steel's high-temperature strength and creep resistance, allowing for long-term operation at relatively high temperatures (typically -40°C to +500°C, depending on the operating pressure).

Good fatigue strength: Suitable for components subjected to alternating loads.

Decent corrosion resistance: Chromium provides basic resistance to atmospheric and weak media corrosion, superior to ordinary carbon steel.

Good weldability and machinability: Appropriate preheating and post-heating measures are required.

Main Applications

Based on the above properties, 34CrMo4 seamless steel pipes are mainly used in the following fields:

1. Petrochemical and Energy Industries (Most Typical Applications)

High-Pressure Pipelines and Manifolds: Used in drilling equipment, wellheads, and fracturing equipment for transporting high-pressure oil, gas, and water.

Heat Exchangers and Boiler Tubes: Used in the manufacture of high-temperature and high-pressure heat exchange tubes and superheater tubes in petrochemical plants and power plant boilers.

Hydrogenation Reactors and Supporting Pipelines: Selected due to its resistance to high temperature and pressure and its resistance to hydrogen corrosion.

2. Machinery Manufacturing and Heavy Equipment

Hydraulic Supports and Cylinders: Used in mining hydraulic supports and hydraulic cylinders for engineering machinery (such as excavators and cranes), requiring high strength and pressure resistance.

Drive Shafts and Drive Shafts: Used as drive shaft tubes in heavy vehicles, ships, and wind power generation equipment, bearing torque and bending stress.

Rollers and Bearing Sleeves: Used for rollers and bearing components in papermaking machinery and steel rolling equipment.

3. Automotive and Aerospace

High-performance chassis and roll cages: Used in racing and special vehicles to manufacture structural components requiring high strength and lightweight.

Landing gear components and engine mounts: Used in the aerospace field to manufacture certain load-bearing structural components (usually with more stringent aerospace-grade material standards).
